CEO trades $11.3M Pierre co-op for huge townhouse in just two days

Some people downsize as they get older, but Ric Duques, the former chair/CEO of First Data Corp, a financial services company, and his wife, Dawn, decided to raise the roof.

They’ve sold their Pierre Hotel co-op for $11.33 million (it once asked $18.25 million back in 2014) and purchased a 20-foot-wide Upper East Side townhouse for $11.2 million. (It had once asked a whopping $19.25 million back in 2016.)

The sale and purchase came “within two days” of each other, a source said, adding that they’re making room for their eight grandchildren and their dogs.

The Pierre, a hotel and co-op, was once home to celebs like Elizabeth Taylor and Yves St. Laurent (who lived in different units).

At 3,000 square feet, their former residence, #3304, features three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms — and a hefty $15,360 a month in maintenance fees.

The home opens to a marble gallery that leads to a corner living room. There’s also a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room and stunning Central Park Views. Hotel amenities on offer include a concierge, twice-daily maid service, a spa and gym, conference room, business center, hair salon and the restaurant, Perrine.

The listing agents were Chris Fry and Shea Mena, of Elegran.

Meanwhile, the Duques’ new 5,230-square-foot townhouse, between Park and Madison Avenues, features four bedrooms, three full baths, two powder rooms and six woodburning fireplaces.

The garden level features an eat-in chef’s kitchen with a pantry, and a formal dining room with French doors that open to a garden. There’s also back stairs from the kitchen that lead to a pandemic-friendly home office.

The second floor features the living room, while the third floor boasts the main bedroom with a bay window and window seat, along with a wood-paneled library and a bar.

More bedrooms line the fourth floor, and an original 19th-century skylight streams light.

The listing brokers were Ethan and Ruthie Assouline, Leonard Steinberg and Herve Senequier of Compass.
