Innersloth has another big update for Among Us coming soon. It’s going to introduce a new colour to Among Us who has actually been a member on the sidelines for a long time. Tan will be joining Among Us in the upcoming update. If you’ve been a fan of Among Us you must have noticed or heard of tan, the colour that never made it to the Among Us crew. But it’s finally happening.
Among Us teased the arrival of tan on Twitter confirming that it will be the next colour added to the game. For those unaware there’s actually a Wiki fandom page about tan and its history. Tan was the thirteenth colour designed for Among Us but it was ultimately scrapped as the developers did not want an uneven number of colours. Tan was designed with lime which made it the 12th colour. But tan did make appearances starting with the Polus development stream on August 11, 2019, and it was later added as an emoji to the Innersloth Discord server. Tan will now make it to Among Us officially as a new colour.
More details on tan will be made at the Summer Game Fest on June 10. Innersloth has more features planned for Among Us. Lobbies are going to get bigger with the total number of players expanding to 15. It currently supports up to 10 players in a single lobby. This means that there will be five more colours added to the game. Innersloth has also revamped the art style with “cleaner lines and an easier animation process.”
