Twenty pooches were rescued Thursday from the “deplorable conditions” inside a Brooklyn apartment — where the dog “excrement” leaked through the ceiling into a child’s bedroom, police said.
Ravon Sevice, 26, and Tafaniel Michaud, 27, were handcuffed by police and taken from a second-floor apartment on E. 94th Street near Avenue A in East Flatbush around 10:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.
Sevice was charged with 20 counts of torturing animals, 20 counts of neglect of impounded animals, two counts of acting injurious to a child, and one count of criminal mischief, cops said.
Michaud was just charged with criminal mischief, police said.
The dogs were packed into a room in the apartment and neglected, cops said.
Feces from the dogs was dripping down into the bedroom below, where two children slept, police said.
