A woman tossed boiling water at a deaf man and stabbed him in the chest during a dispute in Brooklyn, cops said early Thursday as they released surveillance footage of the sick crime.
The 41-year-old victim was sitting outside on Humboldt Street near Boerum Street in Williamsburg around 6 p.m. Sept. 2 when a woman began arguing with him, police said.
She then chucked a cup of boiling water in his face and stabbed him in the chest with an unspecified sharp object, cops said.
The victim was taken to Woodhull Medical Center with stab wounds to his chest and burns to his face and chest, cops said.
Authorities confirmed the victim was deaf, but did not have any information on what led to the violence.
The suspect bolted after the attack.
Police released surveillance footage from the scene, showing the suspect in dark-colored clothing.
