Michelle Beadle is returning to TV.
Beadle will be featured on “select broadcasts,” and will be joined by former Spurs center Fabricio Oberto as a studio analyst.
Dan Weiss, a play-by-play announcer and host for the Spurs broadcast team, welcomed Beadle in a tweet on Friday morning.
Beadle herself has not acknowledged news of her new gig — which came after weeks of reports that she was returning to sports.
In recent weeks, Beadle reportedly was involved in talks with multiple suitors about gigs ahead of the 2021-22 NBA season.
She hasn’t worked in television since the summer of 2019, when ESPN bought out her $5 million-a-year contract. Beadle previously hosted a number of shows for the network, including the morning show “Get Up!” (before Mike Greenberg) and “NBA Countdown.”
A day before the news broke, Beadle shared in a tweet that she “packed up and left LA” in December after the death of her pug, Leroy Jenkins.
“A story: In December I lost Leroy Jenkins, the greatest of all pugs. I packed up and left LA. In that time, the ol’ priority list changed-to surround myself with those that make me smile…both personally & professionally. Seems easy enough,” she wrote, warning fans: “Don’t worry though, I’m still an a**.”
Beadle shared the same post to her Instagram page.
The broadcaster recently amped her up social media use, specifically tweeting about “#sports.” Earlier this week, Beadle shared a cryptic tweet that included a photo of an NBA arcade game with the caption, “Are the rumors true? Yes…I’ve been busy.”
Beadle’s schedule is about to get busy when the Spurs kick off their season at home against the Magic on Oct. 20. It’s unclear which “select” Spurs broadcasts Beadle will be part of.
