Apple is expected to debut a slate of new products in a live-streamed event on Monday.
Rumored announcements at the event — which is called “Unleashed” and is set for 1 p.m. EST — include new Mac computers and upgraded AirPods.
Apple’s MacBook Pros are expected to include new upgraded M1X chips, upgraded LED displays and HDMI ports, among other new features, according to Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives.
The laptops are expected to come in 14 and 16-inch models, Ives added in an investor note shared with The Post.
The company is also expected to debut a new Mac mini desktop computer, the analyst said.
The potential new product offerings come amid a global chip shortage that has tangled Apple’s supply lines and reportedly caused the company to slash production of its new iPhone 13 by as many as 10 million units.
That complicates the Cupertino, California-based company’s plans to roll out new products in time for the sales-heavy Holiday season.
Apple is also reportedly planning an upgraded version of its AirPods earphones, but it’s unclear whether they’ll be officially revealed at Monday’s event. Chip supply issues may cause the company to push back the launch date, according to analysts.
“The biggest wild card heading into Monday is around the AirPods 3 launch,” said Ives. “We know based on our supply chain checks that the new AirPods 3 have been built, manufactured, and awaiting shipment globally but will Apple ultimately unveil these Monday remains a debatable issue within the Apple tech community.”
The new AirPods are expected to have longer battery life, new ear tips and shorter stems, the analyst added.
Apple previously announced two AirPods models — the Pro earbuds and Max headphones — through press releases rather than full-on events.
“There is a ‘high likelihood’ that Cupertino officially launches the new AirPods 3 at Monday’s event,” said Ives. “Although supply chain issues remain, we believe the bulk of these can hit consumers by holiday season.”
In September, Apple revealed new editions of the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
