Academy Award-winning actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow may now be the quintessential California girl, but she spent her formative years on the Upper East Side.
Now her childhood mansion — a 19th-century, seven bedroom, eight-bathroom residence — is currently on the market for $14.5 million.
Her parents, actress Blythe Danner and the late producer and film director Bruce Paltrow, bought the townhouse, at 9 E. 92nd St., in 1984, according to city property records.
At the time, Gwyneth, then 12 years old, was attending the Spence School.
Her parents sold the home in 1992, when she was 20.
The sprawling, 7,205-square-foot, 20-foot-wide townhouse comes with six wood-burning fireplaces, high ceilings and a beautiful garden, deck and terrace.
Details include an eat-in chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room and a library with a wet bar.
The listing broker is Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens.
