Travelers planning a getaway between April 1 and May 31, 2022 may be able to save up to 25% on their hotels with World of Hyatt’s “PRIVATE” week-long sale.

World of Hyatt members have one week to take advantage of a “PRIVATE” sale on over 975 properties around the world, granting a discount of up to 25%.

The hotelier announced their latest sale on their website, valid for bookings between March 15 and 22, 2022, for travel between April 1 and May 31, 2022.

Up to 25% Discount Promotion Available Around the World (Except China)

To take advantage of the promotion, travelers must be a member of World of Hyatt and book through one of Hyatt’s channels: Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt smartphone app, through a Hyatt Global Contact Center, or through your travel agent. Travelers must reference the keyword “PRIVATE” in the special rates field online or when booking through an agent.

The promotion is valid for stays at most Hyatt properties around the world, including in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southwest Asia and the Asia-Pacific regions. The offer is not available for properties in the Hyatt Residence Club, Miraval, MGM, UrCove, Small Luxury Hotels of the World or AMR Collection brands. In addition, promotional blackout periods may apply based on the property, due to seasonal periods or special events.

The promotion also has additional limitations, based on where you are located. For hotels in the Americas, full prepayment is required at the time of booking with full refunds available if the booking is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival. For Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southwest Asia, a two-night minimum stay is required with full prepayment. However, the offer also comes with complimentary daily breakfast with qualifying stay for registered guests, and a 20% food and beverage discount with limitations.

For the Asia-Pacific region, travelers must put down a one-night non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with no additional charge cancellation available up to 72 hours before the arrival date. The offer also includes a 10% food and beverage discount, with limitations applying. The offer is not valid in mainland China “Subject to the recent epidemic prevention policy” of the nation.

Sale Comes After Hyatt Announces Award Chart Changes

The 25% discount sale comes over a month after the hotel chain announced changes to their 2022 award chart. Under the tier list going into effect March 22, 2022, 76 hotels will drop at least one category, while 10 will move into the highest tier, Category 8.
