Accor plans to open this year about 300 properties—or about a quarter of its global pipeline—the company announced this month.
Planned openings include Raffles-branded properties in Doha, London, Macau and Boston; Sofitel properties in Barcelona and Shanghai and Novotel properties in Mexico City and Liverpool.
In addition, Accor plans to open properties under its Ennismore lifestyle-brand joint venture, in Barcelona, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Dubai, London, Paris and Singapore.
Luxury and premium segments represent nearly 40 percent of future openings for Accor.
