Located in Liverpool’s iconic Stanley Dock, in the site’s former North Warehouse, is the luxury Titanic Hotel Liverpool.

The award-winning hotel, with its huge scale historic importance, and location (it’s just minutes away from Liverpool city center) makes it a must-stay and uniquely different from every other hotel in the area. Here, you’ll find plenty of warehouse charm to nod to its backstory including original features from exposed brickwork to vaulted ceilings.

When it comes to accommodation it’s stylish and merges the classic with the contemporary in all its rooms from classic right through to the presidential suites.

As for the F&B, the hotel is home to the dockside Stanley’s Bar and Grill – a versatile restaurant that proudly suits every occasion, time of day, and mood, and a variety of dishes from afternoon teas to Sunday lunches, light bites, and hearty meals, that’s accompanied by a carefully curated wine list.

For all of those who fancy something stronger, head to the Rum Bar, the Titanic Hotel’s lobby bar, where you can relax overlooking the waters of Stanley Dock while sampling a whole host of rums from locations around the world.

To top it off, the spa offers the ultimate in relaxation, with a stunning hydrotherapy pool and a range of treatments found in Maya Blue Wellness that is hidden in the underground of Stanley Dock.

At the helm of the hotel is Brian Connor, General Manager, who also shares his insight into this historically rich hotel.

What is the hotel’s USP?

The hotel has many USPs including its distinctive warehouse-style interiors along with its extraordinary historic setting, located on Stanley Dock. Overlooking the iconic River Mersey, Stanley Dock was part of the Port of Liverpool and was once the largest system of historic docks in the world. The Grade II listed Titanic Hotel is a building that has played an integral part in the restoration of the docks, once a busy warehouse and now a hotel full of character, which still offers the charm of the original Victorian architecture combined with contemporary design.

Tell us about the heritage, architecture, and interior design?

When it comes to the hotel’s architecture and interior design, we had a lot to play with which is why each of our 153 bedrooms starts at a spacious 56sqm! Although the building is over a hundred years old, our modern rooms have been designed to suit contemporary travelers looking for a luxurious stay. The rooms maintain Victorian warehouse-style architecture with exposed brickwork, steel columns, and original windows, softened with minimalist furnishings and decor, plus top technology with modern facilities.

How would you define the guest experience?

Guests have everything they need at the hotel for a memorable stay. Stanley’s Bar & Grill offers high-quality seasonal dishes along with an indulgent afternoon tea catering to all dietary requirements, the Rum Bar boasts a huge selection of rums from around the world, even better when enjoyed on the sunny colonnades overlooking Stanley Dock, and Maya Blue Wellness is a subterranean sanctuary with a hydrotherapy pool and extensive range of ESPA wellness treatments. Additionally, we have two large event spaces, Rum Warehouse and West Bay which are available for meetings, conferences, dinners, and weddings.

Located in what was the North Warehouse, the Titanic Hotel Liverpool is part of the redevelopment of the historic Stanley Dock complex, one of the city’s most iconic areas.

Designed by Jesse Hartley (Albert Dock), Stanley Dock sits over the River Mersey and was part of the Port of Liverpool. It was once the largest and most complete system of historic docks in the world.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool has been a key piece in the restoration of the historic docks and the warehouse has been transformed into a hotel that’s packed with the character, the charm of the original Victorian architecture that has been combined with a contemporary design to suit the modern guest. With all this history, it has proven to be an attraction in itself and an asset to the city.
